POETRY IN BUSINESS CONFERENCE

The Poetry in Business Conference is ground breaking. You will hear from speakers, panel members and poets at the forefront of this innovative and creative professional practice.

How can poetry when harnessed in the service of business create a human centric workplace, innovative leadership and creative enterprises? This conference will showcase how. Each speaker brings years of experience and insight that demonstrate how poetry can enhance leadership, increase wellbeing and drive a more creative and innovative growth strategy in your organisation.

This conference is vital for our times, cathartic and healing, helping people embrace uncertainty with ease instead of fear. Our final session will equip coaches, therapists and counsellors with the skills and resources to apply key concepts immediately in their practices.

  • It’s the beginnings of a Community of practice.

  • It’s creating human centric workplaces through language.

  • It’s finding the beauty and truth in your workplace so that you and many more people thrive.

  • It’s a route to Neuroinclusion.

  • It’s the result of 8 years of Kate exploring the Power of Poetry to Make a Positive Impact in the Workplace.

  • It’s the culmination of speaking, listening and connecting with poets who work, business poets, those who love poetry and want to find more meaning in the workplace.

  • It’s where poetry, science and enterprise overlap.

30 Neurodiversity Poetry Writing Prompts: NaPoWriMo

In 2023 Kate completed the National Poetry Writing Month Challenge of writing a poem a day in April. She created her own writing prompts. These prompts are reproduced here with her own poetry as examples. You are given spaces to create your own poetry in response to these prompts. Kate also offers her thoughts and insights on her own Neurodiversity and different way of thinking.

“Kate’s calm and thoughtful delivery, her charm, her exquisite writing, the variation in tasks and knowledge, the fact she taught me something new.

The level of teaching mixed with interactive elements was perfect.

The gentle flow and diversity of what Kate brought was inspiring, grounding and extremely helpful. Thank you.”
